BS 8102 – Draft published for comment

‘BS 8102: Code of practice for protection of below ground structures against water ingress’ has been published for comment on the BSI portal.

BS 8102 gives recommendations and provides guidance on methods of dealing with and preventing the entry of water from external sources into basements and other below ground structures.

The standard has been extensively revised, with changes made to performance grades and further guidance on installation provided. 

Comments on the draft can be made until 23rd October 2021 via the BSI website.
